Wapun Meadow remember the day we were giving up

aria heard the male a short distance back-- heard, scented, saw-- but she chose to ignore him. they were on their own separate journeys, there was no need to intertwine them. of course, aria was not by any means unfriendly, it was just that today in particular she had something on her mind. today? phew, it was more like every day. but, truthfully, today specifically. 

but he chuffed, taking a hold of her attention. aria was too polite to ignore him now, and so she slowed her gait and turned her head towards him, ears angled forwards. her tail was still, her posture about as neutral as you could get it. she stared, quiet still, waiting for him to say something. after all, he called to her, he must've wanted something. her walking came to a complete stop, and so hee had her full, undivided attention.
