Gannet was too mired in his own thoughts to respond with much, though he was glad to hear that Raven was fine. Pups - his nieces and nephews? Again more family he would never know, and who would likely never consider him such.
Gannet didn't want to leave, per say, but he was having a hard time with it. So he set it aside for now, expression blanking to neutral almost instantly as he decided that he couldn't right now. Questions, explanations, none of it mattered. Screech was dead, apparently deserved to be so, and this time Gannet didn't have the space or heart to argue.
