The male confirmed her assumption, but she wouldn't have believed him if he had lied anyway. There was a latching in his gaze that had lingered on her prey for far too long. Knowing that she had eaten recently, the wild woman felt a prick in the back of her mind. Her first encounter had been with a wolf who had been kind enough to offer a piece of her catch. Perhaps it would have done her well to pay it forward. With a quiet sigh, Ginsberg swung the bird by its neck and then released it so that it flew toward the male and landed a few feet away. She motioned with a nod of her muzzle toward the fowl and made an expression that mirrored indifference. “I've eaten recently... was only looking to fill a cache, but I may just leave this area soon enough,” she remarked with a soft shrug. She had known hunger before and she was not interested in forcing it upon another, even if he was a stranger to her.
