There was something to be said for seeing someone witness the ocean for the first time. It was a moment in which the whole earth fell away and left you floating in the sea that stretched on forever. As much as the skeletal titan enjoyed those who had grown alongside the swell, he found the moments like the one he shared with Blossom to be extraordinary. Still, he could not help but to notice the way that the smaller wolf openly gawked at him. It was not the first time, and he was certain that it would not be the last. Typically, his shape and presence was quick to ignite a sense of wariness in others. The warhound had learned how to make them feel more at ease with a bit of well-meant conversation.

“Your first time, then?” he asked of the stranger. His voice was inflected to sound pleasant and charming, though it still retained much of the smokiness that had initially been there. On his features, Ford sported a smile that seemed almost ghostly due to the lack of emotion in the depths of his mismatched gaze. In spite of this, the tip of his tail wavered in place for the orange wolf. Were it not for the politeness of the stranger, Ford would have likely sunk his fangs into the orange nape of his neck and thrown him into the waters. He did not forget that he was still hunting for the brute who had ravaged Dalia.
