Ocean's Breath Plateau Mystery

She'd paused as soon as she noticed him, wondering if this dude was coming to steal what was hers (perhaps being on her own had made her a little properly wary), but he didn't seem to be making a move to do so.  Surely if he had ill intentions, he would have tried to bum rush her, right?  Still, Skydance was ready to grab it and run if it came to that, but when he finally acknowledged her, he seemed to be civil about it all.  Good.

If he was going to be polite, then  she certainly could as well.  She dipped her head, calm smile on her lips.  Given the presence of food, she didn't want to seem too inviting, but eh.. Maybe she should just comment on it, yeah.  That would be smart.  It wasn't worth his trouble, just let her keep it.  Hope you're not wanting to share, I don't think there's really much left.  She looked down at the remains between her paws for a moment, tilting her head.  All the good meaty bits were pretty much gone.  Sure, there was still some left, but it was harder to get at, plus there were plenty of bones to crunch to reach for the marrow.  Ugh, what she'd said sounded so dumb.  Maybe she was spending too much time on her own so she'd forgotten how to be all awesome at talking.  That should come back in time though, right?
