Firefly doesn't know how he feels about this turn of events but his own plans are hastily shelved; they were foolish to begin with, mostly used as a means to an end (in this case, charming the girl who he has actually alienated). He watches for some time as Rosalyn's breathing returns to normal but does not move to aid her. He lets her body return to whatever rhythm of normalcy it desires, and guards her body — because it is a vessel, and his concern is focused on what's inside of her.
