She'd felt so trapped and so suffocated in Rusalka, but now she was free. She had the whole world before her, and a tough, dangerous man at her side. This was going to be amazing. She stopped when he did, peering curiously at him as he looked back. For a long, terrible moment, she thought he was changing his mind. He did have a lot on the Coast to change his mind about. He had friends, he had kids, he had... Oh! He was turning around again. We're good.
