Helios' story begins standing at a forked road. One path held the majority of his family, while the other splintered down a dangerous road. At the end of it, the tucked silver form he's grown used to shadowing him. Just when the raven boy thought Zephyr was back within his grasp, the silver sibling flees.

Heart thudding in his chest, Helios has been trailing after Zephyr ever since the night their youngest siblings were born. Ever since one of them stopped breathing. This dark, overgrown, tangled road he travels down leaves Helios feeling more alone than he ever has. He's always been independent in some manner of things, yet never truly by himself. There are chances that his weak body will never catch up with Zephyr. Chances that he'll fail every step of the way. Chances that it'll end up a mess, and he will never be able to return to the home he's turned his back to.

He stumbles, breathing heavy and gait slow. How long has he been travelling now? Z... Zephyr.
