the morning is partly cloudy, but otherwise nicer than it's been since his arrival in these wilds. though the nice day should improve his mood, the kraken of the cairns finds himself in an overall annoyed state of mind all the same. even the sea, itself, appears more aggressive as it crashes upon the sealion dwellings; as if it is tied to his temperament ( it isn't but y'know it's easy to twist things to fit his perspective ).

arinbjorn makes a low noise in the back of his throat, not quite a rumble but nothing close enough to be a vocalization of words. mercurial gaze studies the shore, the large pools filled with salt water and unfortunate marine life that has gotten trapped there. he sidesteps one such pool, peering absently into it's shallow depths before his eyes go to the small gathering of sealions as some vocalize with their characteristic barking and others appear content to sunbathe. for now, arinbjorn seeks to avoid them, though keeps in the back of his mind the one to the direct left that appears to be elderly.
