Merrick and the dark woman must have been together for a long time before Skoll himself showed up. He could feel the energy between the two of them in some ways, that they were closer than what it looked like from the outside. He didn't particularly care for it, though. He didn't care how long the two knew one another for, all he cared about was making sure the pack stayed up and didn't somehow crash and burn while the world sped up around them. 

The girl seemed more curious about things than anything, though Skoll didn't have many answers for her statements. "I don't know." He paused. Did the two of them think highly of him? Skoll could only recall one moment when he interacted with the mute woman, which was when some stranger showed on their borders and Skoll mentioned that the stranger would get eaten by bears. She said the pack would fail, and it didn't. Ursus was strong and it was growing. 

"I suppose there's many kinds of wolves here. Though none of them are that interesting."
