Greatwater Lake Continue The Search

Chander had been flitting out the flatlands for days, wandering here and there, sniffing out anything that seemed of interest. Of course, nothing held his interest for long. And so he kept moving. So far, he had met no wolf on his travels, despite their scent being scattered on the wind here and there. He knew they were around, but they seemed to slip away before he could get close.

A lake! Oh, a lake! Chander blundered forward, unaware of the wolf drinking at the edge of the water (ironic after his long search for his own kind) and lapped at the water. After a good few mouthfuls when he could feel the water swishing around in his stomach, he let out a loud contented sigh and then, without preamble, jumped with a happy playing yip into the water. It was summer! Summer was for swimming!
