In her fit of playful revenge, she hadn't heard the adult sneak up on her.
Only when she spotted a head on the same level as hers putting something on the ground did she realise she wasn't alone.
She stopped and froze immediately.
She hadn't been with an adult who wasn't her parents whilst alone before.
So what?

She dashed away her irrational fear and her tail wagged as she trotted up to the woman questioning her already.
Fun. "Yeah!" she enthusiastically replied, sitting on her haunches with a wagging tail, looking up to Speedy.
Adults had food, right? Like all the time? Did she have food there?
"What that?" Ryn asked, standing again and moving to sniff the bark she'd placed down, expecting it to be food.
