It had been a tranquil few weeks for the she-wolf, exploring her territory and meeting her packmates. Unfortunately for her, 'peaceful' was far from her favourite state of things. She liked the drama, the fear of the unknown and fighting that fear with a pack at her side. She had wished for pups, too. Too late for that now though, at least for this year. Her goals were burned into the back of her mind and she stood unwavering.
Lost in her ideas she did not see nor hear the agouti wolf sneak up on her, jolting back into reality as his familiar voice broke through the thick cloud of her thoughts. Regrettably, she had been in the middle of marking territory, so this was an uncomfortable startle. "Ah...Derg." The she-wolf made of sand and stone dipped her head in greeting. "A job you say? Do tell."
