The small little boosts of victory further spurred Sphyra on, and she emitted a tiny growl each time she received a bit of bone to her side. However, when the entire bone came free she was totally unprepared. Sphyra had her heels dug into the sand to get the maximum amount of pulling strength. When the bone came loose, however gradually, at the end of it she rolled backwards, force making her let go of the bone.

As soon as she came to her senses Sphyra then quickly ran back to the bone to grab it and try to drag it away, to a secure corner of the den so she could gnaw it in peace; this was accompanied by guttural warning growls.
