The rocky summit had kept the bard well intrigued for a number of days before he had picked his steps down the slope and into the wild flats of the world.
At once, the air was warmer, and the skies shimmered with the shine from the sun. Birds fluttered overhead, bugs chirped and peeped and played their music from the foliage, and all was pleasant. The Taggerung swayed pleasantly in his passing through the glen, watching with a lolling tongue at anything that passed him by.
There were many wolf scents in the shaded areas. He rather liked the idea that so many packs had founded homes in those lush terrains.
Spurred by a desire to find the pack called Moonglow, the Taggerung drew his gaze upward and peered squintedly at the rocks in the distance. That could very well have been the place Shikoba had spoken of.
A wag of his tail and a cheery hum, the Taggerung pressed on.
