Quiet was good, especially considering the time of the year and the fact that Redhawk now had an expectant mother. The last thing Fox wanted was for there to be trouble, and it seemed that wasn't likely to happen unless they made trouble for themselves. Elwood (or Twig, as he seemed to be known these days) commented on Finley and their compatibility as a team. Fox wasn't so stupid as to not pick up on what was going on. It was quite clear that Finley and Elwood were going to hook up eventually. The two of them were like two peas in a pod. It was so terribly romantic.

"Oh, do you," Fox replied, flashing Elwood a knowing look. "Have you boned her yet?" The Redleaf-DiSarinno had never been known for her tact, and she wasn't about to change that just because she'd gotten knocked up. Mother or not, she'd be the same old Fox. She was determined not to let the little hellions change her personality for the better.
