Wapun Meadow Once upon a time...

indentA night full of terrors had left the Primrose girl exhausted. The rain had been her worst enemy, and the darkness her dungeon. She had been afraid for so long, feeling alone in the world, but all she could do was keep walking forward to find the right place to start over, a helping hand that would give her the chance to get back on track. She'd had it all back in Highmere where she was the princess, but now, exiled from the place she loved and away from her family, she didn't seem to be strong enough. She had strayed for so long, fought against the hunger and the cold, but that night she'd found a shelter safe enough to spend the night.

indentAnd the morning came. A blue eye peeked out from a hollow log to find a world full of color. The flowers were back from their wintry absence and the vast field abounded in life. It was beautiful to watch how the rising sun lit up the meadow from above. Her head was fully outside now, and then her body followed with delicate movements. She belonged in the picture, just as lovely as the colorful scene. "Better days will come..." she convincingly professed in a low whisper, and with determination she set foot to find fresh water.
