The coywolf then returned to his own den at an easy walk, no longer feeling like he had to jog for the anxiety had gone from him. Jaws gave it a gentle poke before he crawled beneath the log, and the bird soon followed, forgoing the hole it usually slept in to rest by Jaws' leg. He curled his neck around it and the pair drifted into sleep.
