What a dreary ending. Shaking his head from left to right, he couldn't help but still smile despite what a solemn story they wound up weaving. Should I tell it on my own, perhaps I will try to come up with a more uplifting end. He continued with a toothy grin, boyish and charming, full of enthusiasm to see what he could spin with their little shared experience.

He waited for a bit for the woman to see if she herself would introduce herself, he would be pleased to pass on her name as a great storyteller. Whether she introduced herself or not, the man gave a quick curtsy, bid his farewells and allowed them both to continue on with their day.
