All Welcome
backdated to 8/25
@Kaori (@Kiyoshi is welcome to join too <3)

Toshi would’ve loved to stay and chat up the locals, but there were important things to do. Cèlnes invited the family to join her little group, and it was his duty to beg his mom to accept.

Momma, momma! he called as he briskly walked through the mud. He wanted to run, but he learned his lesson from last time. It’s bad enough he lost one tooth, he didn’t want to lose any more.

Pack Activity
Toshi's voice pulled the thick pup's attention from the dismal weather. His dark eyes latched onto the excited figure with perked ears and a stiff frame. After the pack had disbanded, Kiyoshi did not believe there were many things to be excited about. Whatever news Toshi wished to share would surely be good.

henlo i suck and also forget 24/7 to check PMs

The Wolves of the Stream were no more, the pack as a whole disbanded. Kaori wondered what direction she might be tasked with steering her family in—wondered what her mother would do, if in the same situation. But, as she often needed to remind herself, she was not Asterr and was not bound to make the same decisions, despite how much she wished she could.

When the sound of her son’s voice came shooting through the air, the dragoness was drawn back to the present. She looked to the energetic boy first, ears perked and eyes then scanning their surroundings—was something wrong? She looked to Kiyoshi and then back to Toshi, satisfied with the lack of danger. “What is it, Toshi?” she asked, curious now to learn what had him so worked up.

sorry about the wait!

Toshi skidded to a halt when his family emerged from the foliage. New home! New home! he sang. Just saying that got him pumped. My friend, Célnes, is here with her family ‘n she invited us to come with her.

Toshi skipped around his brother and weaved through Kaori’s legs. Common, I’ll take you to her!

The energy that radiated from Toshi was overwhelming. Kiyoshi rose to his feet and took a guarded but curious stance, leaning on stiff limbs toward his brother. His ears were drawn forward to stand tall on his head. Toshi spoke of another home - a new place for them. This was interesting indeed. The boy took another few steps towards where Toshi was bouncing and glanced to their mother. He wanted to know what she thought of all this.

"Is it far?" he asked, looking then to Toshi. He trusted his brother well enough that he did not feel worried about how he had discovered this founding group.

can wrap this up w kiyoshi? <3

A new home was proposed, the mentioning of a friend and an offer. Kaori was skeptical at first, wondering if it was truly something worth pursuing. But as she thought further, she knew her options were limited; she could not take from her sons the chance at a normal life, one that would not force them to travel. “If this friend of yours has offered, then I suppose we can accept,” was her answer, gaze drifting between the hatchlings. If there was a place for them, she wanted her boys to take it.

Their mother seemed to think it was fine to accept such an invitation. Kiyoshi turned to her and nodded his head to show that he believed in both of their choices - this new group would surely be a good home for the trio that had nowhere to call their own. Beggars couldn't really be choosers, not in that state. Whispers of winter had been carried in the autumn winds. They'd never seen it before, but snow would soon coat the wilds and would provide a different set of challenges. A pack was necessary.

"Let's go with Toshi, mother?" the boy remarked and began to follow after his darker sibling. Toshi would lead them back to this friend he had made. Once they were there, everything would be much easier for them. Kiyoshi did not wish to be a boy who would shy from difficult times, but he was still young. He had not learned to quell his fear.
