aw, tags for ref!
the raccoon was cold now. wolf dreamer breathed upon it, pushed it into the crackling leaves which formed the inside of the brushfall.
he did not know if @Wilwarin was awake.
or alive.
but the golden threads stirred.
"i am sorry for being gone longer than before. i — dreamed."
he waited there, dropping to his belly as ears listened from sounds within the den.
when they came, he breathed easier and went to patrol the small area.

OKAY I think this works better..
But it was not Wilwarin who emerged from the den.OKAY I think this works better..
In silence the second son crept from the shadows into the light. Galathilion had remained a quiet, pliant child; unremarkable save the somberness behind his youthful eyes. Even now, in his moment of adventure, the boy was solemn.
He stepped from the den and followed the man at a steady pace.

welcome! <3
a tiny step behind turned the dreamer. "hello, galathilion."
the gold shone between them in filaments.
"hello, sunchaser."
wolf dreamer walked on. he would not go from sight of the den, pressing a round path in the spring-dewed grass.
the boy was solemn. the man looked again, slowing his pace. "your mother says she will know home when we come to it," he continued, not truly expecting any answer.
