Strange had she felt, and so much so that her day had been wasted away with nothing to show for it. She'd hardly neared the borders for patrols, and hadn't quite inspected the greenery, either. She'd been slacking, but for why, the female was uncertain. Something felt off, she could tell, but it was a sensation that she'd never felt before. It was an easy thing to ignore, and so she'd been permitted to fall into a light slumber earlier in the evening. Within her dreams, she'd met a dragon—her dragon—and upon her figure had he directed his flame. Burning her, in a sense, but never did she crumble. The sensation had seemed to swarm her very being, starting from her core and then making its way out to reach every inch of her. Only, in that way had it not stayed, being dragged back towards its point of origin instead, the intensity of it all having eventually been enough to wake her. Upwards had she jolted, panting to relieve whatever fire had built itself up within her, but never was absolute relief found. It was in that moment that she'd discovered what was happening, as well as what her dream had meant, and so she'd removed herself from the den she'd been occupying with the intentions of finding a faraway place to stow herself away within.

From her previous sleeping quarters the girl had gone, making her way through the lair with only the slivers of moonlight from overhead to guide her. Truthfully, she could tell where she was going even without the light, yet she'd found herself relying on it anyways. It told her that she was awake, now, and that she was on the move. It was towards the lair's mouth that she'd found herself going, intending to escape her home for the time being, but paying little mind to her surroundings during her haste.

Jolon wasn't a being that needed sleep often. His automatic system only needed a little power to do what it was supposed to, and less sleep meant less thinking. If he didn't sleep-he wouldn't keep thinking of Ezimette. Even on an hour like this, he was patrolling the borders, the only job he couldn't do very wrong. He needed to protect his home, and he found he was the only one who could. But on his patrol under the stars, his dark pelt lightened by the shine of the moon, he smelled something peculiar. It vaguely smelled like Asterr, but there was something mixed with her feminine smell that grabbed his interest.

His gray eyes, that almost had a light of their own in the dark, blinked a few times and he sniffed the air. Something stirred in him, and he couldn't control his feet that now took him towards the scent. It was so weird- never had he been so attracted to only a smell. If this really was Asterr, what did it mean? Was he truly in love with his tribe leader, the small dragoness who he had met all those moons ago? His eyes went to up above, to Al tarf, the star that Noctura had given him. Jolon had no love to give anymore, but this scent told him otherwise.

He finally spotted the smaller dark shadow that was Asterr, and he sniffed in deeper. Something told him he needed to come closer, to touch her, and he truly couldn't control himself. He would start out casual though, and took place next to her, his head to the side to touch her shoulder. His head stayed there longer than normal, he wanted to take in as much of this new scent as he could.

Each step was planned, her paws being placed precisely where they needed to be in order to better propel her through the forest. Never could she fear those that lived within her tribe, but during such a time, her mind was focused upon a single thing: to escape them. To avoid any encounters with the wolves of the lair—males, especially—and make a clean getaway. For the majority of her time spent moving, she'd even been successful in doing so, but nature always seemed to swoop in and flip things upside down during the most unwelcoming of times. Her scent had drifted, attracting the attention of a man she'd felt herself to know well, and resulting in her having acquired a follower. She'd attempted to increase her pace the moment his footfalls were within earshot, but her efforts had been futile. Minutes, perhaps even seconds, later and the presence was upon her, approaching her side and offering a touch to her shoulder. The gesture had caused her to slow before eventually coming to a stop, setting her gaze on his features as she sought an expression that might signal complete control.

Of course, such was not found.

Without a moment longer of hesitation, Asterr had turned away and continued her trek, pace having increased in order to place as much distance between herself and Jolon as possible. She knew of his life under her leadership, but prior to that, she hardly knew anything about him. She knew not his history, whether it be with females or just others in general, and so she could not trust him at the moment. Even quicker had her legs began to move, carrying her in the direction of the cavern's exit.

He could swear the longer he scented this smell Asterr was carrying, the softer the voices in his head were becoming. It was relieving, the silence, but he needed more if he were to stop them all forever. But that gift was not given. With a confused look as his it felt like his drugs were walking away he watched the tail of his leader that covered her opening so nicely. She wanted to change this into a chase game? Well, as long as she knew Jolon was no cheater... With an entranced look he followed her from a distance, not knowing where she was taking them.

Like a pup in love for the first time, he followed his nose that was bound to the sickeningly good smell that Asterr seemed to posses. He had given her his loyalty, the least she could give was satisfaction, and right now he needed to kill the voices. Though bigger than Asterr, he was almost just as fast, keeping but a small distance between them at all times that grew bigger. Asterrrr? He tried to call out.

Departing had not been enough, for the male had followed with a persistent air about him. She did not like it, finding no comfort in the feeling that came with being stalked after. He was impossible to lose, capable of keeping pace with her despite the obvious differences in their physiques. It was a troublesome thing, her heat, for it'd turned someone that she'd considered a friend into an unrecognizable threat. Finally, when he'd called out to her, she'd decided to try something new. After coming to an abrupt stop, she'd spun around to face his direction, expression serious. To allow for him to follow simply would not work, and it'd been made perfectly clear that he would not leave on his own. Thus, that left her with only a few final options, the first swiftly becoming her weapon of choice.

With her body facing his direction, she'd pushed her ears forward and raised her head, displaying her dominance in any and every way that was possible without lifting her tail. "Stop," the girl commanded, the words meant for no one other than Jolon. "Turn around, return to the heart of the territory and stay there." It was important that he obey her, and so she'd awaited for him to do so.

Jolon did not see his actions as wrong. This was pure nature. It was his instinct-her instinct- that drove them together. If nature wanted them to mate, he would obey like Noctura obeyed the stars. They needed this, young souls were good for the tribe, and what better candidate was there beside him? They knew each other the longest, beside Noctura, and he did feel some sort of connection between them. Perhaps, if the scent was not clouding his mind, he would've let her be, but she was irresistible now with her new parfum.

As she finally stopped, he didn't, instead joining at her side, his face at her haunches. He was wise enough not to touch just yet, waiting until she was done ranting. He wasn't listening, not really, all he could think of was taking her right here right now. He made a goofy smirk, curling his neck around so he was able to lick her back. He nibbled softly, knowing she could very well start fleeing again- but he knew nature was stronger than own will. Perhaps not even Asterr could resist this- could resist fate itself.

Avannon had been awake all night, her eyes refusing to close, even though her body ached for the release of sleep. The pallid female had watched from the shadows as Asterr had started, seemingly with fear but after one whiff of the female's scent she had known immediately. Avannon winced and felt a bit sorry for the female, knowing that if she washitting her heat cycle, that they would soon follow. She watched as Asterr left an uneasy feeling settling in the pit of her stomach. She stood up and followed behind her,far enough to be unseen, but close enough to follow her scent. Avannon hid in the bushes as her ears picked up the sound of a second set of paws among hers. Jolon's scent hit her nose and she winced knowing the intoxicating scent of Asterr's heat had overrun the male's thoughts. She icked up her speed as Asterr Picked up her pace, nervousness and an odd need to protect the female who was now her leader. She hid in the distance Watching the interaction between the two her hackles rising slightly. Please listen Jolon...please..  she prayed to whatever higher power there was. She didnt want to fight Jolon, not because he was larger, but because he was family.

The female had gone unnoticed, for Asterr's attention had been required elsewhere. She could glance away for naught even a second, nor could the focus of her senses be removed from him. He was unpredictable, the wolf that she'd have claimed to know gone, and replaced by a stranger. He had not stopped, he had not obeyed. Instead, her once loyal follower had taken matters into his own paws, harbouring not even an ounce, it seemed, of restraint. While she understood nature and her callings, the chieftess also believed than any impulse could be countered. That with the proper amount of work being placed into controlling oneself, not even nature could sway one's behavior. Yet, for the male, it seemed as if he did not possess the ability to do so—or, perhaps, he had chosen to just give in, rather than fighting against his urges.

Where the male was lacking, she was not, for the onset of her heat had been recent enough for her mind to remain as being virtually clear. While she could not deny that there burned within her a great desire for relief, she was conscious enough of herself to understand that it was not with Jolon that she sought a union. "Jolon, enough," she'd voiced, the command far stricter than any tone that she'd ever used before. With her words she'd pulled away from him, increasing the space between them once more and then facing them. She had spoken with nothing short of pure seriousness, as was revealed when she'd fitted the male with a harsh gaze.

Not sure if this is pp, but just say if you're not okay with anything here and I'll gladly chance it!

Perhaps she could fight nature, but Jolon could not. He had always been highly driven by instinct, more so before even meeting her. He needed this, the tribe needed this, even though he might be lying to himself here. It was obvious she wasn't fond of him enough to let him claim her, but Jolon found a woman could not deny the calling of desire. He wondered if this was the first time that she had been approached this way, which would explain her nervousness and distrust in his abilities better than to just say she didn't want it to be him. There was no way he would let her go away like this, not in this state. He would take her, for the better of her and this offspring.

His eyelids lowered and he looked up as she once again rejected him. What was he doing wrong then? He had been gentle and had barely touched her, was that not what women liked? Or did Asterr prefer something more rough. It wasn't like it mattered anyway, for he would do his thing whether with her acceptance or not. Better me than a stranger... He said in a low voice as her silver eyes penetrated his very soul where he missed Ezimette so very much. He needed this more than her, maybe, but as his leader the least she could do was help him with these voices.

He tried again, walking past her  glare and placing a paw on her back with a whimper. His ears and tail both dropped down as he begged for her to accept.

Skipping with assumed permission. If you wanted to get one more post in before pulling Avannon out, lemme know~ ^^

Even as he looked at her, the female's choice did not waver. She could not allow for him to claim her, as it simply could not happen. He was not thinking, she knew, driven by instinct alone. There was no way for her to talk any sense into him, yet still did she try, refusing to turn her back on him both literally and figuratively. He had served as a loyal member of the tribe, yes, but even still she did not feel as if she owed him her body for it. They lived as a family, looking after one another and expecting nothing in return for their services. That was the way in which they lived, not in a manner that would warrant the man's behavior. She did not desire that which he wanted to do to her, not from him. With the borders she could trust him, but with herself she could not.

His voice rung in her ears, causing for them to fall back against her crown. "Is it really?" she'd voiced, the question rhetorical. "Is it truly better that I let you take me? That my trust in you is lost?" There was disbelief in her words, her mind unable to wrap itself around his reasoning. Had they been a pair romantically, then it really would have been for the best. She would not have fought him on the matter, she'd have gone away with him with the hopes of creating new life within the tribe. But, they were not, and it was not. Jolon was a friend, a loyal member and guardian to their shared home, but nothing else. Her breath did not hitch in her throat when she looked his his way, her heart never skipped a beat. The man was owed nothing, and she'd not pretend as if he was and willingly offer herself.

Again, he'd pressed forward, ignoring her command to keep away as well as her glare. He'd approached her, drawing near to her side and then lifting a paw to place it upon her back. His whimper had taken her by surprise, but even still, she was not swayed. Once more the girl had pulled away, keeping her gaze on him at all times. "You will stop this, Jolon." If not, there would be consequences, she'd make sure of it.

Somewhere deep in the hollow place where once rested an untouched heart he felt something that was not his own. He knew it wasn't love, maybe he would never love again to flee the pain Ezimette had carved upon his soul, it was something stronger. It was pure desire and greed to have the little dragoness. He was strong and perfectly capable of this, but he'd rather not start the deed with force. He was still the young girl who he had met that winter when he was rejected. Everywhere he went he was rejected, but not this time. She would accept him, maybe not this year, but he would never give up.

This was just another way of channeling his hatred for Ezimette. He was so conflicted he felt like a true animal, not just a star. Ezimette had made him feel peaceful, but with her gone, the beast he had been deep inside had burst out of his chest as well as in his lower-zone. Trust is just another word for weakness... He rumbled. In this life, the only one you can trust is yourself. He preached with tears welling in his eyes. So yes, He said in a calmer tone, his own piercing gray eyes shining furiously in the moonlight. It is better.

With his desire denied again, he had had enough. His brows furrowed, but he did not growl. His head was lowered though, to make sure Asterr couldn't pull something tricky. He knew it was not something Asterr would do, but the voices made him belief something different. He placed his paws to the right, her eyes following his every move. So this was the game she was playing. He quickly shifted to the other side, hopefully reaching her side again quick enough to turn her around fully to gain access to her flower.

His words had stung, far harder, even, than his intentions. No longer was he capable of being understood, his shared beliefs having gone back upon everything that he'd assisted in the building of. With loyalty there came trust, and she found neither to be weaknesses. It took strength to be able to form a sense of either, and determination to maintain them. She had thought that he knew that, but his response only showed her that she'd not taught him enough. That even though they'd been together for so long, he'd taken nothing from her way of living in order to make it his own, and that hurt her. A life of peace, a home in which everyone valued loyalty and could trust one another—those where the things that she had desired most in the world, though slowly had her dreams began to be crushed under the weight of his harshness. She knew not if it was truly him speaking, or if his mind was just so clouded that he was spewing nonsense, but either case had her wishing she'd escaped earlier in the day.

"It is through our loyalty and trust that we obtain our strength," she'd reasoned. "Please, come to your senses and realize this." It was only with words that that she could fend him off, her physical strength having always been far beneath his own. The idea of running had entered her mind, but given his close proximity, she knew that doing so would only lead to harm befalling her. He would give chase—this she knew to be certain—and in the end she'd be trapped anyways. It was as if she'd been backed into a corner, unable to find a proper way of escaping the trouble she'd fallen into. Having to think so quickly, her mind operated similar to how a whirlwind might, nothing of use being presented no matter how long she was left to consider her options. Asterr had considered calling for another member, insisting that they fend the male off so that she could take her leave, but her need to protect all of those within the lair kept her mouth from opening. If she were to call someone, then surely a fight would break out, and she would have been the cause of pain instead of the release. It was something that she could not do to her family, much preferring to sacrifice herself so that they might exist without any worries.

The change in his expression had been noticed, her muscles tensing in preparation for whatever he might throw her way. Yet, an attack had not been made in order to drag her down, the male having instead shifted towards her right. All of the potential scenarios had not played through her mind, for there'd been not enough of time for them to do so. Thus, she'd turned, aiming to ward him off. It was in the last moment that he'd shifted his direction, though, and perhaps she had noticed but a second too late.

Jolon did trust his family, Asterr included, but regretted ever making such bonds. Or maybe that was what the voices told him again. He couldn't say what was him and what was not, not anymore. This hollowness, this confusion had taken control, and it made him belief that whatever he was doing now would help. It was a combination of of lust and hatred. He didn't want to feel this way, and perhaps this was his way of calling out for help. Did it even matter what happened to Asterr if he did this? Did it matter to him if she wanted this or not? Jolon cared, but not whatever was inside of him now.

I'm sane... He rumbled, denying his problems once again. The soft twinkle in his eyes grew dull as he lost himself in the lies he told himself every night. It was true that he would chase her wherever she would go now to get the satisfaction he so desired. Fleeing was pointless. This was her home too, and he knew it would require another war to make her move away. Not to mention she absolutely adored her followers, or so it seemed. Not even his lust would make her disappear forever, and as soon as she came back -if she managed to flee-, he would try again; whether she would be in heat or not.

He turned a sinner right then and there as he tricked the young, little dragoness, his nose reaching her flower. It was not that he had done his before that he knew what to do, it was instinct. He pushed away her tail, with force or not, his body following not too long after. Finally he had the upper hand in this dangerous game he was playing with his own leader, he thought as he tried to jump on her, forearms desperately trying to hook themselves onto her haunches.

Though sanity was claimed, she'd never believe such a statement to be true. He was not right of mind, not currently, and nothing could make her think otherwise. Jolon had been lost, but to what she did not yet know, giving the reasoning behind his relentlessness little thought. She'd been focusing upon keeping him back, preventing him from advancing upon her, yet even that had not been enough. For the male had tricked her, choosing to play dirty rather than heed her commands. There was no time for her to take any offense towards his actions, his nose having prodded at her suddenly enough for a sharp yelp of surprise to escape parted jaws. There came then his body, everything moving far quicker than she had hoped for, and the attempted grappling of his forelimbs around her waist.

In the flurry of limbs, she'd twisted away from him, ducking and skittering off directly after. For perhaps the first time, her lips had lifted in a silent snarl, glancing his way once more to ensure that her warning was not missed. With that, the chieftess had taken off, looking back no longer and moving with the intent to leave her lands.

Mature Content Warning

This thread has been marked as mature. By reading and/or participating in this thread, you acknowledge that you are of age or have permission from your parents to do so.

The participants have indicated the following reason(s) for this warning: Sexual assault? Rape? Something sexual to say the least.

The yelp was like angel's singing to the monster in charge of his body. Jolon on the other hand was not amused by his own actions, but could not stop his desire. The scent was so strong it almost made him stop what he was doing, but luckily his body did the work for him. He was surprised Asterr made no comment, but he figured it was because she was stunned quiet by his actions. Great, Jolon, now she'll love you. Who needs Ezimette? Jolon let out a low growl to warn the dragoness under him, but as soon as he was about to lock himself down on her, he was thrown of balance by none other than Asterr.

She snarled at him, which was the sign she wanted to be in more trouble than just being raped. He smirked as he let out a low growl. It may be pure luck that had saved her this time, knowing that he was way heavier than her. But she won't escape a second attempt, he wouldn't let her get away. As she slowed down to glance at her, he had already begun chasing after her. She was fast, but the power of pure lust and madness would make Jolon run until his pawpads bled.

As soon as he was close enough behind her, he tried to jump back on, letting out a low rumbling snarl as he hoped to pin her. His hindlimbs pushed him up and forward toward the bum of his chieftess, hoping his weight and the shock would be enough to make her stop.

Asterr out, yo

In return for her snarl, he'd released a growl, but she'd not hesitated upon hearing it. She did not fear him, she could not fear him, but still she harboured the desire to get away from him. It was not Jolon, but a beast within her home, and she wished for nothing more than to rid the lair of him. What he wanted would not be given to him, however, and she'd made such a fact known when she'd bounded away. She was not his to claim, and the familial bond that had once connected them made it impossible for her to think otherwise. Had she been stronger, or simply just larger, then perhaps she would have fought him off. She was not, though, and so her only way of escape was to rely upon the traits that her body did possess. Though she'd run, the wind seeming to move out of the way just for her, it had not been the end of their encounter. The male had pursued, as hungry as he was, and so she'd pressed her legs to move quicker.

No matter her speed, it had not been enough to make him lose interest in her. Before she'd even realized what was happening, the man had been upon her with a snarl seeming to almost tear through his throat. She'd not cowered, and she'd not stopped, either. When impact had been made, she'd stumbled. Her fall had not been nearly as bad as it could have been, the momentum from her running having sent her rolling until, come three or four somersaults, she'd been set back upon her feet once more. Bewildered had she been, but not enough to stall her movements. As adrenaline had started to flow into her system, she'd continued her escape, making no more stops along the way.

The only thing he needed was someone to understand, just anyone. He had hoped the one that would understand he needed help would be Asterr, but everything changed that night as he was denied satisfaction. All she needed to do was shush him, tell that it would all be alright, even if it were lies coming out of her little maw. He hoped she knew it was not him attempting to deflower her, but a twisted beast that had taken control and had grown stronger every day. She was a quick, smart girl and again so young and dumb. All loners would be upon her if she left the lair, all he wanted was to protect her. Perhaps if he was in control he could've explained it was not wise to leave. Where was Noctura when someone needed him? He had been there to comfort him, make him reason with himself, even though his actions hadn't been enough.

Damn it. Damn it all. His jump had been misplaced, instead running with full force against her, making her tumble and roll further. It was here that life began to slow down for the dark male. He made a roll also, losing his balance as a low-pitched screech left his maw. A stinging pain pulsed through his whole body as he felt a crack rumble his whole existence. It was his right hindleg, the part attached to his paw. As Asterr escaped, he lay there, muzzle in the dust that she had left behind, crying softly. He would be able to stumble back, he was sure, and someone would help. Or they won't, who cares.
