Her attention doesn't longer on the child longer lest he give her more problems, which she'll deal with later, but she lifts her gaze back to the brute attempting to explain his loyalty.

The mention of an evil tongue causes her ears to alert upon her head, temporarily forgetting about the child at her feet. The man had proven to be simple and she can't help but wonder what had happened but for now she sets it aside.
