cortland frisked alongside his mother as they made their way over the borders. casmir was home with mona, who had declined cort's invite in her usual way. it was time they moved to a rendezvous site, but that of course was up to @Rowan Mayfair. cortland was content to snuggle between her and the beta in the colder evenings.
today he wanted to show his mother how he could fish, but he didn't want to do it at home, as that would be cheating in his mind. of course the fish would be biddable and patient in their own home — cort wanted to catch them off guard.
and so he begged and wheedled rowan into a trip, even graciously allowing her to accompany him to the weir. it was there that he settled himself on the bank with a quiet "watch this!" and proceeded to stare into the depths.[/tr][/td][/table]
