The two weren't sticklers for detail, it seemed. What mattered was the here and now. He barely remembered Liffey, but the mention of Rannoch caused his lip to curl and expose a single fang.

"Dude, Rannoch just...left," he said quietly, the murmured tone betraying his simmering fury. Another to add to his hit list. "He said he went t'look for Cypress but just...never came back." Redshank looked to his friend, his eyes a mixture of betrayal and anger. He could've been dead or dying in a ditch somewhere, but Redshank couldn't care less. "Fuck that place, fuck Rannoch."
