Talos discovered that paws were not nearly as tasty as she may have hoped, as her tongue wrapped itself experimentally about the claws and toes, but she hung on stubbornly nonetheless. Her target was weak and unworthy, hah! He was no match for her superheroic puppy strength! So there!

Her job nonetheless grew considerably harder as her obnoxious brother proceeded to thoroughly slime her. Brother cooties?! So gross! Talos wrinkled her stubby black muzzle and summoned her most menacing growl, but with her mouth stuffed full of brotherfoot it was barely audible. Not to mention the squealing brat was now shrieking fit to deafen everyone for several hundred puppylengths around at least, though fortunately for her Talos herself escaped such a fate. What she was not able to escape was his frenetic skullpounding, which didn't really have much strength behind it but was nonetheless irritating, like being assaulted by a rogue kamikaze moth. Talos spat out the other's paw and yowled back at the nasty-tasting creature as she flailed blindly at him with her own sooty paws, though she had to save her breath a little more for her ineptly enthusiastic exertions than her brother seemed to need to.

 The pair of them nonetheless made the most unholy racket of a dissonant chorus that ever did grace wolf ears: obviously closer to demons than angels, under all that disguising stubbly fluff. If either of the remaining littermates had made the terrible decision to rest anywhere nearby, with the skill and grace that Talos was displaying as her dumpy limbs jerked like a demented puppet's, they'd be just as likely to be brained as Akatosh.
