He made one last headcount over the growing trio before he passed guard of the litter over to his wife and daughter. Hopefully his efforts to keep them busy make them easy company for a while, but he wanted to get going. As with so many summons, this is not one he intends to make wait. Times are tense.. he's aware of the more delicate matters, and the ones demanding their attention more than the rest; Heda may be making her mend, slowly but steadily thanks to time and the dutiful wolves keeping her, but it's not as simple as that in the end.

The pale wocha arrived in silence, and dipped his head and ears alike to Thuringwethil as he rumbled a low, fond greeting to her. But, businesslike as usual, he revered her appropriately before attempting to settle near Blixen, after passing her a quick nudge on the shoulder. For Helix and Ajatar, a more curt nod of greeting seems to suit him well enough; he's still getting used to their company--they're too new, especially Helix, while Ajatar is only freshly returned to them and he wonders if she is an omen for what can come.

Badly, he wanted to ask how everything--everyone-- was, but patience kept him quiet; when they're all here, they will know.
