The titan’s nails puncture it’s throat, holding down a heavy paw upon the squirming prey before dipping his head to finish the job. He resurfaces to lick the blood from around his maw, optics searching wildly for any lurker in the distance who may aim to steal his kill. The winter birthed desperate men, and no matter how big he was, size did not intimidate stupidity. He ingests enough to fill his stomach and begins to bury the rest, nostrils flaring ever so often as he picks up various scents lingering nearby. But eventually his eyes glaze over and he continues to furiously dig, disregarding reality as he travels further and further down his subconscious. There is pent up aggression in him, something that sought to snuff the life out of something other than his food -- a habit left unfulfilled for too long.

”Straight to the penetrating, I see.” The soft winds of winter took Vonn’s voice, made it melodious and throaty, and ferried it across the way to the creamed male and his quarry. The tone wasn’t without cheer—rather, it was full of jest, and was more real than the speaker, at first.

The beholder followed his own suit, a moon-bright glint in his eyes and an infuriating smile chatted along his lips. The past several days, he had passed through claim by claim, hoarding those wandering souls to make bid of Stigmata’s debt. In that time, too, he was regret to admit that perhaps he was as deprived as the Diaspore general had promised.

But with the scarred make of cream-beige before him, and the warmth unfurling beneath his own pelt... perhaps that may be amended.

Eyeing both hunter and prey with nothing short of amusement, Vonn seemed to recline back with the patience and grace of a feline; with wont for nothing but see how this situation would turn out. ”You seem tense, my friend, no?”

short post srry bleh

The leviathan whips around no sooner than the stranger’s voice reaches his ears, hunkered protectively over the remnants of his kill. This is someone he does not recognize, but is reminded slightly of his brother… for whatever reason. Vaati releases a true, guttural warning with a tilt of his head. “And what makes you think that?” The question is rhetorical, illuminated by the foreboding ichor that drips steadily from his chin. He is in no mood to play and feels his body tense with the premonition of a fight. Not one in which he would need to defend himself, but he held the feeling the other would give him reason to lunge.

lmao same
that was a traumatic exp thanks laptop .......

At the low warning, Vonn’s ears splayed back, neck arching further on his rounded shoulders and appraising the hunter before him with a raised chin; eyes gleaming with intent not suited for hunting. The impish line of his mouth faltered only to reply, blasé, ”Oh, you may continue eating. I would never mean to interrupt a feasting male—unless I am invited to partake.” A worn, private laugh clambered up from his lungs and out of his throat; he most certainly was alluding to the flesh that wasn’t wolves’ prey. But with the catch before the coastal male, he might as well have been talking about the find... all the same, which find?

Vaati could not shake the feeling that the other was mocking him, as if he was playing second fiddle to a joke about himself. It reminded him eerily of his brother, who held the same tone and manner as the stranger before him. “You are not invited.” He snarls in return, the hairs of his back rising. The fact is, the stranger is not his brother and so the affections he held for his littermate does not translate or carry over to the being before him, so he believes. “Do you have nothing better to do than watch?” Perhaps he should have attacked by now, but on some level he is intrigued. Intrigued to see where it would go, or what the other would do.
