Damien tailed the southern purlieu with Moonstone Quarry in what was supposed to be a quick mapping out quest to secure the borders of his kingdom, but heavy with memories Damien's strides took him further south than he intended. The quarry had been a place of inflection in his life, changing the path of things forever, and yet, there was still so much about the vents that had transpired here that he still could not remember or understand, so, naturally, he felt intrigued and tried to find the exact place where the princes of oblivion had sent their golden saint to rescue him.

For a moment he thought this could be her, the exact same wolf his memories had brought him here to picture, but as he crept closer he realized this was, paradoxically, someone much less familiar.
