ooc; for @Speedy !

he hadn't been to this place before. that's really the only reason he had traveled up to this location. leaving Elysium behind, he'd wander and wander until his paws hurt to walk. stopping for a rest, he'd find the Bramblepoint. though he had no idea of the name of it. it was just a pretty little location; nothing less and nothing more. aware two packs were in the general vicinity - having met a previous Moonspearian in another thread - Puck kept to himself.

well, as much to himself as he could handle. a social creature by nature, the coywolf was always eager to meet new people. he wanted to do a lot of good stuff for his new pack. maybe he'd meet others and form worthy friendships. maybe he'd make a new alliance. that sorta helpful shit. Puck sighed in bliss, rolling onto his back and enjoying the day. it was a bit cloudy but hey, he didn't mind. he still felt weird but he wasn't going to look much into it. as long as he was healthy and happy, who really cared what biology told him?

Speedy made her way to the woods near the mountain, hoping that today, the earth might provide her with something useful. Spring was upon them, and she couldn't help but feel light on her feet as she made her way through the trees. A lot of the branches hadn't completely regrown their leaves yet and so the sun peaked through easily and warmed her coat as she searched the ground for anything interesting.

The fresh scent of a stranger made her pause, and the healer lifted her head from the ground to check her surroundings. Her gaze searched between the trunks, stopping once it found the source of the new smell. The stranger was lying on his back, completely at ease. She suppressed a delighted giggle as she moved towards him. The sun is nice today, she commented as she neared. She stopped a few steps away from the male, a warm smile creasing her face as she waited for him to say something.

another would approach, her remark making him grin. yep, the sun was fan-freaking-tastic today. "dayyyyyum right" he'd reply with a bark of laughter. there were worse ways to sunbathe. like, if it was bolting hot outside. like it'd be in the summer. he loved the spring for that reason. it wasn't too hot. ain't too cold. just right. her scent was like some other girl's he'd met previously. the same pack, probably, and obviously. he didn't move from his spot, though his tail would flash to the side to wag. er, pat the ground in human terms. "wanna join me? plenty of room." it was polite, right? asking some lady to join him.

She returned his laughter with a soft laugh of her own, already sensing she was in the company of a similar being--one that loved the spring as much as she did. She smiled widely at his invitation. Sure, she replied, walking over to him. She settled down next to him, rolling on her back to let the sun warm her underside. I'm Speedy by the way, she offered after a few seconds of enjoying the feeling of the sun on her fur. It was probably backwards to accept an invitation to lie next to a stranger in the sun and then introduce herself, but that was kind of the way things went in Speedy's life. She was much too friendly to bothered by such things. Instead, she just enjoyed the moment and the company of someone who seemed just as happy about life as she was.

she promptly accepted his invitation, causing another grin. the pretty lady even gave her name. Speedy. another right-to-the-point name. he wondered how fast she was, and if he should be an utter child and ask to race. but the thought was quick to be pulled from his mind. "name's Puck" he'd tell her, having no reason to hold back his own name. another tail wag, this time on the opposite side so not to hit her with it. "from Elysium" he added in, wondering if her pack was allied with his. the one thing he wanted to do in the Teekons was have a ton of friends, and you really can't achieve that if you're enemies with your potential friend's pack. "what brings ya out here, Speedy?" aside from the nice weather that is.

It's nice to meet you, the empath said amiably. Speedy was not familiar with the pack of which he spoke, though. Elysium? where is that? she asked curiously. It had been a while since her lone wolf days, and she supposed some things had probably changed since she was roaming the wilds.

I was coming to check if anything useful had started growing back yet, she said, answering his second question. But this seems like a better way to spend my time, at least for a little while, she added, a warm smile spreading across her face. She liked the way the sun felt as it warmed her sandy coat, and she was always excited to meet new wolves, especially when they were cute and friendly. And what about you? she asked, nudging him gently with her shoulder if allowed. Did you just come here to relax under the sun?
