The whole thing so far was a bleary smear of activity to his sleep-deprived brain.  Even with more leaders, it still seemed like there were roughly a billion things to do.  Between trying to nail down the borders, help @Raven find a den and all the associated pre-pup nonsense, hunting for the family, trying to get familiar with the territory, help build caches.. The whole nine yards and then some.  

He'd done his best to check in with @Owen, @Phoebe and Vasa but considering he wasn't the type to try to try to drag out their deeper feelings, chances are these were brief encounters to ensure they were doing okay and he was off quick again to get something else done.  And he should go look to see if he could find Kite since it was clear she did seem to be gone by the time of the move.  But so much needed to be done -- the timing was awful.  If he crossed paths with @Liffey or @Rannoch, it probably was along the borders, and probably pretty brief -- or at the very least he wasn't the chattiest wolf around, just too much on his mind.  For the Liffnoch kids or Rye?  Unless they went out of their way to hunt him down, he was probably more like a ghostly shadow that lurked around and made things happen.

Because to a point, Quixote was pretty solitary by nature.  Sure, he could drag along someone else on his duties and adventures but for the most part he felt like it was always faster if he was on his own.  Maybe he was wrong.  But either way, he definitely tended to burn the candle at both ends, so as a dreary day shifted slowly towards being rainy, it was particularly unsurprising that he was yet again wandering towards the borders.  It was a bit of a walk still, but that was his goal.  A bit of a patrol, then a hunt, then he'd go find his mate and see how she was doing.  By then?  He'd probably pass out.
