The contract involved food and land, now that Cry lacks one of them, the Bull dissolves it. He has no need to chain himself when part of the bargain has been snapped. Thus, Shadewood is left in the dust, and the Bull has no lingering attachment to it or its people; not unless they wish to throw the aged mercenary a bone.

His wanderings have not gone far from what remains of the Keep, but soon the Bull will branch beyond. The coast, however, is his domain for now. He spots a child huddled underneath a small tree, the Bull almost turns a blind eye. Familiarity grasps his attention, and lured by the possibility of a fight with her parents drives the beast forward. He does not harm children, least he must, so the Bull merely approaches—intimidating bulk striding with his head aligned with his shoulders, and tail raised equal with his spine.

Once he reaches the child, he lowers his muzzle, giving her a sniff-snort in greeting.
