All Welcome
the ground moves now and again, and her hackles and fangs can do nothing to drive it back the way it ought to be. and so she exists uncertainty with this new development, roving the territory and keeping tabs on the packmates she will not yet outright approach. she may not be a scheming as they, but knows the value of observing, adapting, before acting.

she crouches now over the remains of a doe. it is mostly skeletal, now, though a kill worth returning to despite the scavenging. wurha's gaze flicks up to land on a waiting raven, regarding it a moment before returning her full attention to stripping the skeleton of sinew and remaining flesh.

He was not yet sure of what he was to do here but at least he was certain that he was safe for now. Vengeance had brought him here and then sort of not checked up again though with all the earth rumblings and busy pack matters he didn't blame the man. It was only a matter of time before Valour grew bored and began to wander the Woods alone to find out more about their home, hearing the wet sounds of a carcass being torn apart. His ears perked and he followed it, his stomach announcing his presence with a loud rumbling that he made no comment on. He paused beside a tree ears shifting hesitantly as he watched the female strip what looked to him like a nearly bare carcass "Can I have the skull?" He asked hopefully, silver eyes flicking to her face as he moved closer.

a boy, approaching without fear. she follows him with tilting ears and shifting gaze, but continues her work on the carcass. it is only when he steps nearer that she takes a step forward him, thrusting her weight forward and matching the movement with a snarl who's message is clear enough. stay back. should he stop or retreat her menace will fade, and her attention return to the corpse. perhaps she is made soft by the boy, or simply does not care, but she moves to the skull and severs it skillfully, moving to shove it towards him with a sharp exhale.

He wasn't expecting to be lunged at and it surprised him so much that he immediately halted his approach, ears flattened and head pulled back as he whined softly. For once his eyes did not shoot to the ground and he did not flinch, instead looking at her directly though they nervously flitted to the side every second or so. As she went back to the carcass he whined softly and slid to his belly, laying his chin on his fore paws as he watched her work. He didn't know why but he really wanted that skull, he thought it would make an interesting decoration to his den when paled in the sun or even with the dark stains of gore dried over it.

As she sighed and tossed him the skull his tail pattered the ground and he lifted his head, giving her a grateful, boyish smile as he belly crawled, using his forelegs to drag himself to the skull and no further. He grabbed his prize and sniffed at the skull, licking the flakes of gore and chewing carefully at the remaining meat as he watched her work quietly. After a few more moments he lifted his head and licked his muzzle "Can I help?" He asked hesitantly, genuinely curious as to what she was doing and wanting to be a part of it. "Please show me?" He asked motioning to what she was doing and lowering his head, tail wiggling behind him as he tried to make himself seem smaller and less threatening, more childlike to the wild female.
