he'd grown daring in his adventure, his paws leading him further down the coast until they strayed inland for a break. the moon, bright with an unusual glow, had reached it's peak by the time he'd made it to the open hills.

he had expected to be tired after having traveled all day, but strangely enough, he wasn't. hunger however, was unrelenting. and so after a brief pause to rest his weary feet, astaroth rose and set off westward, intent on finding a meal to satisfy his growling stomach.
