Hello, Hello, Hello! Time for that bear hug @tytonidae

Rummaging through the forest with her barrel of a body Shelia wandered around aimlessly searching for the best berries, or scraps from a recent carrion. She knew of her close proximity to a wolf pack, but paid no mind, she wasn't hurting anyone. Her snout lead her to a nice black berry tree, where she proceeded to dig in stuffing her maw full of berries.

Tytonidae had left her Uncle Atticus for the time being, after wishing him well and thanking him for listening (which he was rather good at doing). After some debate between herself and Atticus (if it could be called a debate at all), she had decided to venture outside of the plateau and do some exploring of her own. Junior was the real outrider, but Tytonidae fancied herself an explorer of some sort. She wasn't too far away from home when she spotted the biggest, fuzziest thing she had ever seen. Wide-eyed and full of wonder, Ty approached with no hesitation. “Hi!” she blurted once she was close enough. “You are big!”

Shelia scavanged the ground for any berry bushes or food of any kind, it was Autumn now and she need to but on some weight before she searched for a den for the long winter months. As she paws the ground once more, her eyes had just landed on a very large black berry bush which of course she made a be-line for. She was in the middle of eating one of the best meals she had had in a while when a voice cause Shelia to pause her feast and look up. Indeed she was massive having been on two legs to reach the top of the bush, slowly she returned to four paws and turned around only to find a furry wolf pup yelling at her. "Hello." She responded in kind, not sure how to approach such a situation, considering her last confrontation with a wolf but a few weeks ago. "And you are puny..." She shrugged, "Perhaps I only appear big to you, because you are so close to the ground." She laughed, a deep bellowing laugh from her core.

Um, let these two be besties, plz.

Ty giggled when the bear told her she was "puny," but she didn't take offense. Even compared to her rather tall father, Tytonidae was small. She still had an awful lot of growing left to do, after all. When the great bear began laughing, the puny adolescent followed suit, feeding off the large predator's laughter and making it her own. The guffaw of the bear was almost unreal to the girl who had only ever heard wolves and her friends laugh.

When she finally managed to gain back control, Ty concentrated on her breath to slow it down. “What were you eating?” she asked. Tytonidae had grappled with leaves as a child, but they had never been something she had considered eating. This bear, on the other hand, had been plucking something off the bush and chowing down on it like it was her last meal on earth.

they well be! XD

While amusment was still livid in her eyes, Shelia smiled down at the small pup, still not sure what would become of her if they were found by the rest of the pack. She shrug not having much care for the views of this small ones family. What were you eating? That one caught her by surprise, thinking for a moment Shelia turned her attention back to the bush and lifted her front paws off the ground to stand at her upright height to snap one of the only remaining branches with berries still upon it. Coming back down to the ground with a thud she placed the branch between herself and the pup, "These are berries...Try some." She offered although she had a feeling it would no be appreciated, she still had a smile on her snout waiting for any reaction.

Hesitantly, Ty stepped forward. The hesitation was less about the bear and more about the plants that the bear was trying to feed her. She felt like plants weren't supposed to be eaten. Food was meat. Rabbits were food. And so were deer. Except for her friends. They were different kind of rabbits and deer. Ty wasn't sure she could explain it if anybody asked, but thankfully, nobody had ever asked.

The big ol' bear set the branch in front of her, and Tytonidae began chewing on a leaf. Clearly, she was having hard time of it. Just as soon as she had chomped down once, she spit the leaf out. “That’s horrid!” she exclaimed. “How do you eat that?”

Sheila explained, eventually, that they were supposed to eat the not-leaf parts. They were little round spheres that burst in her mouth when she bit into them. Curious, indeed. At some point, though, Ty had to return home, and she did just that, excited to tell her father all about Shelia.
