All Welcome

Instead of the forest, today he headed towards the plateau. Perhaps he'd have better luck finding what he wanted to collect there. At this point he'd go for anything that seemed to have a meaning for him. Maybe an antler or something, but it was likely the wrong time of year for that. Okay, he didn't know, he was just guessing, but based on luck, that was the issue.

Maybe he should stick to like.. Stones or something. Something common. Right now the issue was also that a light snow was going to start hiding everything for a period of time that would likely equal the rough duration of his search -- Spook had totally picked a great time to head out. Ugh. Maybe he should have made a promise to fate or something so the weather wouldn't pick on him.

He had left the brat to his own devices and was now on his own. The young knight was hungry and had been tracking a rabbit through the Cuesta when he noticed a wolf in the distance and totally lost track of his prey. He gave a low chuff so he wouldn't startle the wolf.

He wasn't finding any sign of what he was wanting to find. But it was a luck kind of thing. Oh well. He'd just keep wandering and maybe find something.

But he wasn't alone. He was drawn out of his thoughts by someone calling. Well, sort of. His walking was interrupted, a sort of goofy wobble as he tried to move forward and turn around at the same time. Spook did manage to turn around successfully, ears pointed forward. Some guy he didn't know. Despite previous interactions, he wasn't going to be all bold or anything -- that was pretty much just an one time thing. Um, hi? Who are you? If they answered badly he could probably run home from here if needed.
