Another challenge gone and passed, leading into the then birth of Erzulie’s children—his children? They were for Erzulie and Rosalyn, to be raised by two mothers, and yet… Aningan could not shake his interest in them. He wanted to be involved but wondered if that was wanted of him. Would it be accepted, even? He couldn’t determine the answer on his own and, for fear of being told what he didn’t want to hear, he hadn’t yet approached either of his Betas to discuss it with them. Rather, he set out to distract himself, patrolling the outskirts of the territory; here and there he’d leave his scent behind, a message that the land was now taken, albeit absentmindedly.
Characters are more than welcome to mistake Aningan for a polar bear.
