Seaside Moors desert shadows creep across purple sands

maman shifted closer, nodding slightly, and solaire's tail beat the ground again. she was not a shy or insecure girl, only hesitant, but encouragement went a long ways, and so she began to hum quietly again, even if it was off tune. when rosalyn spoke again, her daughter fell quiet, ears pricking forward again to listen. there were times to speak up, and there were times to take in the words of others. at the question, the golden child was thoughtful for a moment. of course, she didn't really know any, but this was no obstacle for the creative- and so without any answer in the form of words, sol simply began to hum again- louder this time, in a way that did not mimick any tune she had heard.
