Adult Pack member Tuwa hasn't met/talk to a lot, please?

The afternoon sun send a spray of dappled shadows across the loamy forest floor where the remnants of Duskfire's recent kill laid. It was a good omen that, especially after last week's disappointment, the young pack could work together and bring down large game. With the advent of Autumn, and winter at its heels, it was imperative that the maiden glacial group maintained seamless cooperation. Though their numbers were few, each of the subordinates was strong in their own way.

The carcass had been well cleaned; the bones completely stripped of their muscle. What hasn't been eaten had been buried, stored for colder days, but some morsels remained hidden in the nooks. That, and the hearty marrow, offered a tasty snack.

Tuwawi had returned on a recent patrol, scouting the eastern border and laying her scent. Their markers were weak, still, but would become potent in time. A young crow pecked at the skull, but took flight as the alpha she-wolf approached with a haughty trot. It cawed a complain, to which the wolf ignored, and settled on a branch to out-wait the predator. She nibbled gingerly at the scraps, hungry for a light meal.

Danica -kinda- fits this bill? Figure since no one has jumped in yet I'd snag it!

Danica felt a large amount of satisfaction that their most recent kill had gone so well. After the first hunt she had been worried that their inexperience with one another would lead to a few lean moons, but her worries had proved unfounded. True, luck might turn on them in the coming weeks, but they had made it this time, so her fears were put to rest. They had something stored away.

As she passed the location where the remnants of the kill lay, she saw movement by the bones. Thinking it a scavanger, she approached warily, but relaxed when she saw that it was Tuwawi. "Good morning," she greeted her pleasantly, in a good mood currently. She moved to keep on her path, not wanting to bother Tuwa if she wasn't up for conversation right now.

A savory piece of sinew went down like butter as Tuwawi licked her chops, engrossed by the meal. However, a faint call from a few lengths away grabbed her attention. 'Good morning,' the voice said, to which the alpha's saffron crown popped up from the carrion. "And to you," she replied, ready to return to supping. Yet, as Danica's figure turned away to continue on her route, Tuwawi couldn't be helped but feel the need to check in with her closest member.

"Danica!" she called after the golden woman, jogging to catch up with her. "How are you? We had a good hunt, eh?" It was promising that the maiden pack could work together so well, though the familial ties between each member had yet to solidify.

Short post is short :P

Her walk was halted when Tuwawi made an effort to continue the conversation, and she slowed, turning to look back at her as she caught up. She didn't mind taking a pause to catch up, for she was fond of the mother and really didn't have much better to do at the moment anyway.

"That we did!" She felt a great deal of satisfaction that their first one had gone so well... it was a testament to the quality of their packmates and the strength of their teamwork. If she put any stock in omens she would have called it a good one. "Not that the prey found it so lucky." She grinned. "How are the little ones? Settling in alright?"
