She was glad he caught on the idea of swimming rather than focusing on her battered face and something in is eager response with flirtatious undertones made her smile and chuckle. "No, not really - I have had enough for today," she told him, but nevertheless followed to the edge of the water slowly to see, whether he was going to slip and fall and, perhaps, do something just as silly. She did not know the guy at all, but she felt that this kind of mischief would suit him. 

Lele sat down and observed him curiously, glad for a distraction, glad for having neutral company after a very long time and it would occur to her later only that this was the first time in a long while, where she actually felt a little happy.
