That popping sound didn't sound good to Somnia either. As Amon stopped struggling and gave the word, she started chewing through the nearest tree root. The first couple tree roots weren't hard to break with a few bites, as they were more on the skinny side. But some of the thicker tree roots were a bit trickier. They required gnawing through them, spreading the bitter taste of plants in Somnia's mouth. Eventually, she managed to chew through all of the roots trapping Amon.

Somnia took a step back, giving Amon the space to roll over to get back up. "I'm positive that the popping sound wasn't a good thing. Should I call Ashton? He's a Healer, so he should be able to help."
