Backdated a bit to before he took off to see Scarlett again. @Meldresi @Crescendo
Sop, you can go ahead and do a single roll in the Mis. Rolls to determine which one wins this. c:

Since learning of Crescendo's meeting with Scarlett, and of what he told her, his mind had been nagging him. His mind tried to urge him forward, to push him towards the dark wolf to confront him, but he'd managed to hold himself back so far. He thought he could continue to hold himself back, to maybe put some distance between him and the other male in order to settle himself down, but he couldn't. It was a curse, really, his need to protect her. The same fate had fallen upon nearly every male in his family, and while he use to think he'd be the exception to that rule, he recently learned that he didn't experience it in the past because he didn't know the albino. Now, however, he did know her. He cared for her well being more than he did his own, and allowing the silver eyed lupine to go on without saying anything after he went after her seemed insanely wrong.

The fact that Kove could not make himself do nothing was becoming painfully clear rather quickly. Another male had confronted his dear friend, and according to Scarlett he'd come onto her strongly. That was an unforgivable thing, or at least it was without some form of retribution being paid. With a clear thought as to what he planned to do about it, the ghostly being stopped in his tracks and tilted his head back, calling out for both Crescendo and Meldresi. The Queen would be there to watch over what he had planned, and to make sure no one died from it. Apart of him wouldn't mind getting rid of the twisted man, but he knew he could not. So, Kove would settle for a simple spar—at least then he had the chance of drawing some blood from him.

I went ahead and changed this thread to be labeled as an aggressive spar :L Depending on the roll I'll give the points (+1 for loser, +3 for winner)

Kove and Crescendo wanted to fight. She had a string, aching feeling it was over a female, but she did not know who. It could not be Kadence, for she seemed to be taken completely by Crescendo now. It made Meldresi suspicious on who Kove was courting, and how Crescendo had offended him. But she would ask questions later. For now, the priestess gathered the last of the moss and cobwebs, the poppy seeds, the healing herbs. Kove had called. The spar would begin soon.

She moved quickly, hoping that Kove would not start without her. It seemed the speed was not necessary, for Crescendo had yet to arrive. The priestess dropped her bundles, then looked at Kove sternly. "When this is over the both of you will explain yourselves to me as well as apologize." She snapped at him as if she was his mother, which she could be, and kind of was in a way. She was the founder of this Dark Brotherhood, the Dark Mother?

Crescendo slipped soundlessly from the shadows, wary of the annoyed alpha. Beside her were herbs of healing, and Kove looked...well, mad was an understatement. Fuck, he swore silently. It seemed the newest dark brother was already in some deep shit. "Greetings, Meldresi, Kove. To what do I owe this pleasure?"
To the dark mother, he submitted, but was soon back on his feet facing Kove.

He remembered his little chat was Scarlett, and mentally swore. So that was it. Well, he would get out of it. He nearly always did.

The ghost had stood nearly as still as a statue as he patiently waited, keeping his calm demeanor in place the best he could. It seemed the Queen was the first to arrive, and he gave her an apologetic dip of his head when she spoke. “I would like to apologize to you in advance,” he murmured, his ears moving and searching for the sound of footfalls even as he spoke. “For taking up your time.” If he could have, he would have gone without calling the older woman so she could be left alone. That was not how it worked, though, and that was something he could not change, either.

It didn't take too long after Meldresi's arrival for the silver-eyed male to show up. The sight of him alone was enough to make the anger dance in his eyes, but he did his best to stay calm. It was something passed down from, and taught by, his father, as a way of tricking one's opponents into thinking little of the situation. It had helped in his old pack when he would spar with his older brother, who was too lax to take anything seriously unless given a reason to, and Kove was hopeful of the fact that it would work with Crescendo as well. “If you have not the capacity to remember, then you're an even bigger fool than I'd imagined after hearing of your confrontation with the crimson-eyed woman.” The calm before the storm. That was what it was.

Soon after her, the other sparring opponent arrived. Crescendo was sporting a freshly placed red paw print on his shoulder, his silver eyes glinting with curiosity. He didn't know what was going on it seemed. She hoped Kove would not leave him uneducated in this fight.

And he did not. Kove mentioned a red-eyed woman, which made Meldresi raise an eyebrow. She had met only one red-eyed woman, a young girl in the cliffs, who knew of her pack. It could only be her. "Crescendo," She spoke, to explain this matter to Crescendo in a neutral manner. "Kove is challenging you to a spar concerning this red-eyed woman." She curled her tail around her feet tightly. "I am here to monitor the fight, and make sure no one dies or is fatally injured. I have the power to stop this fight if it has gone too far, and if either of you attack while I'm doing so, I will demote them." She said sharply.

Crescendo nodded respectfully to Meldresi before looking Kove straight in the eye. "Very well" His stance was rigid and alert, his silver orbs portrayed no emotion as he waited for the white male to make his move. White moves first.

The red eyed woman could only mean Scarlett. Oh yes, the beautiful white one with the blood red eyes. he recalled his conversation with her quite clearly. Unfortunately, it had been only a conversation, nothing more.

I went into the table thread in the sparring pits to roll for the winner (because I really wanted to try it out). Kove won with an even, Cres with and odd, and the number was six.

The head of the pale wolf nodded out of understanding to Meldresi, but then his attention was focused fully on the silver eyed wolf. He put aside the fact that they shared a pack, that they shared a Brotherhood. Both things seemed small in comparison to what he'd done. Kove was definitely overreacting a bit, but it was a matter of pride, and maybe an ounce of betrayal and distrust. The man before him had shared things with the one he harbored feelings for that he had not wanted shared right away. No, that wasn't the real cause. The real reasoning behind his actions was the fact that the guy had even looked her way. Her light was much to bright for a shadow like him, and he didn't want him to taint her or treat her as he did so many other woman.

He lowered his head a bit and pulled his ears back, working to circle around his fellow pack member. In the white knight's head, Crescendo was a mere piece of meat—prey, if you will—and he planned on treating him just like that. He would circle him and nip at him, and if the other still refused to make the first move, he'd up his taunting. Kove was frighteningly calm as he moved around, waiting before he reached the others hind quarters to move in and snap it his hind legs, then move away again to continue walking the circumference of his opponent. He would stay quiet, nearly perfectly silent, all the while, giving him the chances to watch every twitch of the man's muscles if need be.

Meldresi stepped back further, bringing her herbs with her as she noticed the beginning of the fight. She had a feeling that it would be violent - no - she knew it would be violent. They were her wolves after all: sadists and assassins all. Meldresi got into a comfortable position, but one that was ready to push herself up if she had to move away. Kove and Crescendo began to circle each other, and Kove started the fight by nipping at Crescendo's hindquarters and darting away. Her indigo eyes watched them both, but she looked uninterested and blasé. Her mind spoke a different tale, however.

Crescendo waited silently as Kove circled him, snapping at his heels. As soon as Crescendo could see him again, he suddenly aimed a heavy blow at Kove's front paws, hoping to send him toppling head over heels. In cause that didn't work, he barreled toward him at point blank range, hoping to get him on the ground and end this quickly. he had better things to do.

Having had long legs for nearly as long as he could remember, Kove was skilled at moving them quickly when needed. So when the shadow attempted to aim for his front paws, he was quick to move them out of the way to avoid becoming unbalanced. The motion didn't allow him to move away from the attack quick enough, though, and he was sent onto his side. The man move with the fall, however, and rolled back up onto his feet. The second he was standing, he used his hind legs to launch im towards the other male. The ghost kept his jaws wide and aimed for his shoulder, fully intent on sinking his teeth into Crescendo's flesh.

If he would be successful in his attack, he would then proceed to yank back to try and tear whatever he could from his shoulder. Then he would back off again and start circling, looking for another place to strike. If he failed in his attempt, though, Kove would continue passed the other man's body to land on the other side of him, then begin moving around him as he did in the beginning.

When the pale brute lunged at him, Crescendo did the exact same, hoping that they would collide with such force that Kove would fall, and be stunned enough for Crescendo to hold him down, and be the victor.

Little did Crescendo know that if they did collide, Crescendo would be the one laying stunned on the ground for a few moments. But alas, no thoughts went through the brutes head, only a repeated word: attack, attack, attack.

We can probably wrap this up soon. @Meldresi might want to step in after Cres responds. :o

Though he noticed the other taking the same approach by lunging at him, Kove did not turn away. He welcomed the impact, pushing as much of his weight into it as he could, sending the dark male backwards when they collided. The second the other touched the ground, the ghost was atop him and growling. He kept at least one paw shoved against his body at all times, unintentionally pressing his claws into each place he placed them every time. Even if he had realized, he would not have changed how he held him, as he fully believed the man deserved whatever he could dish out to him. Getting the other down wasn't the only thing he wanted, though. In truth, he wanted to sink his teeth into him right then and there, but that was probably due only to his naturally aggressive side coming out with the adrenaline of the attack. He wanted to hear that the other would never go near Scarlett for as long as he still breathed.

Lowering his head closer to the other, he made an effort to snarl and snap at his face, but without the intention of actually biting him. If he did, the man wasn't so sure he could stop. The albino had quickly become his world, which resulted in his anger showing in a more vicious manner each time her believed her to be under a threat. "Say you will say away from Scarlett from here on until you die, and maybe I'll allow you to leave with a fraction of your dignity intact," Kove demanded through a growl. Those words were due more to the aggressive affliction passed onto him from his father's side than his own nature, but he was willing to carry out any sentence necessary if he refused to comply.

Crescendo was on the ground, but never stopped fighting. He clawed and snapped at the other, unlike Kove with almost no restraint. He heard the males growled words, and snarled softly. (Some PP here, tell me if you want something changed in your next posy)

With a tremendous push from his back legs, Crescendo slipped away from the grip of Kove. He was quick to sit on his haunches, and shot a glare at Kove before molding his face into a neutral look. "You win, Kove. Go chase after the girl. I have no interest in her." His eyes glinted darkly as he spoke, maybe he had one day, but not anymore. The female was too happy.

He dipped his head toward the male, a grudging sign of respect. Few could best him. But then again, the male was his senior and probably had much more fighting experience then Crescendo. He did not move to tend to any of his wounds, simply let the small streams of blood from a few various cuts slide down his pelt.

You two should post once more before we fade out :P

Meldresi faded into the shadows, both figuratively and literally, as the two fought. It was a quick battle and Kove pinned Crescendo down quickly. After having a threat growled into his ears, Crescendo scrambled out of Kove's grip, accepting his defeat. Meldresi made her presence known again, chuffing softly towards Crescendo, who had the majority of the wounds.

"This matter is settled. If either of you bring it up again, even you Kove, I will punish you." She said, standing and walking towards the black male, the bundle of herbs in her maw.

Last post from me! Thank you for the thread, guys. I'll have this archived after @Crescendo posts. :D

The ghost allowed himself to put pushed from atop the other male, but he did not go far. His eyes stayed glued to him as he spoke of not having any interest in Scarlett, and stayed there up until the point where he showed a sign of respect to the pale man. Though he said nothing to the shadow, Kove did give a light grunt of approval in response to the other's actions and forced himself to take a step back when Meldresi made her presence known once more. Already, the male had started to calm down, as the threat had disappeared and his mind was being pulled from the haze that caused him to see only that. He was sure he would never look upon the other again, as avoidance would be best to keep from antagonizing the other, and keep from growing angered himself.

Kove looked to the Dark Queen as she spoke, giving a stiff nod of his head to show he had heard and understood fully. "Yes, my queen," the Inuit man said, putting a small distance between himself and the other two as he spoke. He returned his gaze to the obsidian woman, now ignoring the other man entirely. "I will leave first, then," he stated, wishing to inform her so as not to perform a rude departure. Without any real 'goodbye', the alabaster lupine left the two dark beings, disappearing into the dark forest much like nothing more than fog itself. He needed to find something else to occupy his mind, to keep him from turning and heading back to attack his opponent once more, but nothing came but his will alone. He forced himself to keep going, not even sparing a glance behind him as he wandered away.

Crescendo sat still, watching the brute as he left. Hopefully forever. Crescendo wished that he would go chase after that female and never return. Although he appeared to take his defeat in stride, there were few who could best him, and Crescendo was silently fuming. After letting Meldresi attend to him, he thanked her, and left as well, in the opposite direction the white male had gone.
