The amount of dogs in the area had diminished more and more as of late. It didn't take a genius to see that Roadkill was likely not long for this world if she'd stay here. She considered going somewhere else, y'know, giving the good ole' family life another go, but with her luck, she'd probably just end up with an awful Owner again and it'd all be for nothing. Well, for some extra suffering, that is.

The beagle hadn't expected to find any other dogs anymore, truthfully, when she noticed one in the distance. Roadkill had stayed by the ocean after the tussle on Silvertip Mountain, because she'd only ever heard stories of the ocean and there was something about the rolling waves that brought out the pup in her.

Since she'd never done anything but fight, Roadkill desperately needed that feeling of being a pup again.

She didn't know the name of the dog she saw when she got to the shores where the funny sea lions often hung 'round, but she thought to remember he had taken charge after the crash, when she was one of the dogs to just go the other way instead of lingering 'round with the rest of 'em. She was no pack animal. "Ey," Roadkill called out to him. He looked terrible. Wounded 'n like he wasn't long for this world, like the rest of their kind. They didn't belong here. "Wa's your name again, fellow? Think Oi saw you at the crash." The mangled beagle sat down not far from the other dog, showing no threat to the larger dog. She had no need to; if there was anyone she needed to keep befriended right now, it was other dogs.
