Harlyn kept her gaze trained upon the path ahead to avoid any pratfalls, but of course had kept Mordecai within her sight out of the corner of her eye - especially when she moved to playfully nudge him off course.  A laugh danced from her lips as he stumbled.  When he put on some speed to catch up, she gave him a quick backwards glance just to share the flash of mischief in her eyes before she too quickened her pace.

It didn't take too long for Mordecai to catch up to her, regardless of her efforts to leave him behind.  Truth be told, she really wasn't trying all too hard to outstrip him.  She rather enjoyed the thrill of having him hot on her tracks and knowing that at any moment he might be close enough to tackle her to the ground.

They made it to the spot Mordecai had described without any tackling or wrestling - a fact that Harlyn found herself a tad disappointed in.  It was probably for the better, for the moss they'd worked to gather likely would not have made it had their journey dissolved into such an epic battle.  It took them little time to stash the materials and so were able to spend the better of the remainder of their afternoon just chatting much like they used to when they traveled together, only now in the arms of a pack they could both call home, for a time at least.
