For @Meldresi (backdated to when Ohen kills Reaper)

Ohen sat with the crazy boy who seemed to have lost his mind for a moment. The dark male wondered if it was normal for Damien to have this sort of crazy behavior in Blackfeather, but something felt off. Not knowing how to care for the boy or his wounds Ohen called for the only healer he knew in the pack, and that was Meldresi. He was a bit nervous that he would get his ass beat for allowing the youngster to get injured, and for a moment he thought about slipping away before the Alpha could answer his call.  However that wouldn't work since he was the one that called for her, and if he ran away she may mistake Ohen for being the one to hurt her son.

He looked towards the creature he killed and couldn't help but feel bad. It looked so unhealthy and hungry, but now it was dead. Ohen decided that instead of feeling bad for the mut, he would see that good in what he did. He had put the canine out of its misery. That was good wasn't it?

It worried her when Ohen called, distress in his tone, and it worried her more when the scent of her son intermingled with blood nearby the border. She was a Dark Sister through and through, but she was a mother as well. She wanted her children to become the next generation of Dark Brotherhood assassins, spies, and priests, but she did not want them to die young, or to be riddled with scars and wounds before they were a year old.

But it was a hope in vain. Her son was laying on the ground - he was unconscious, not dead, thank Sithis - blood glistening on his chest. Nearby him lay a dog, dead. Starving dogs seemed to love coming into Blackfeather Woods, and her inhabitants loved killing them. Her eyes looked to Ohen questioningly, then she walked closer to her son, licking at his chest wounds. "Tell me what happened."

Ohen gulped when he saw Meldresi, but remained calm. She didn't seem angry or upset with the ebony male which was good. She went over to clean Damien's wounds and questioned him what happened. He took a deep breath before answering her. "I was walking through woods, found Damien and this mut fighting and I had no choice but to kill the creature." It sounded so awful to say that he had murdered someone. He had taken a life....

However he kept telling himself that he had made the right choice, he had protected his pack-mate and had put the dog out of it's pain. He looked to Meldresi hiding any emotion he was feeling on the inside. "Will he be ok" he said and motioned to her injured son. The ebony male couldn't decided if he should tell Meldresi of how the way Damien acted but decided not to. She was his mother, surely she would have seen this behavior before from her possessed like son.

Meldresi finished cleaning Damien's wounds, and tucked the small boy under her paws. Her son had almost been killed by a starving dog, and if it hadn't been for Ohen, he would have literally been dog food. "He will be." His wounds were not major, but they would be sore for days.

"I'm in your debt, Ohen." She said, inclining her head slight in deference. "You had interest in joining the Dark Brotherhood, yes?" At that, she was skeptical at him joining. He sounded guilty when he told her that he had killed. And it was only a dog. How would he react to killing a wolf? Perhaps he would be more suited to spying, or being a priest.
