Not too much longer and they broke free of the cave before spilling back into daylight. Their return up the slope had been gradual. His eyes were adjusting with each step, but even that did not prepare him for the full weight of the sun. He winced, turning his eyes towards the ground as he moved for the cover of nearby trees. It was always better in the shade. The sun was far too intense otherwise.

She was quick to turn and spy him. Quicker still to gladly accept his offer of a spar. "Friendly spar then. Another day." They'd had enough of this adventure and what she spoke of next was true. It was important that Tonravik knew of such a location. It could serve a purpose beyond their initial discoveries or be excavated to shed new light. Either way, she deserved to know what treasures her lands held.

"You discovered it. You should have the honors of reporting it." He needed no recognition for this discovery. He'd just been along for the ride. Besides, he didn't envy any wolf who tried to hold a conversation with Tonravik, reporting details or otherwise. She wasn't the type of wolf to speak at all if ever so dialogue with her was a trifling thing.

"I can call or you can. Whoever's ready to test those caves first." Or rather, whoever got around to remembering their spar first. Alas, his time here had come to an end. He offered her a nod and drifted off into the summer heat.
