Serafina came from a family with a strong dominating presence. Her father and mother ruled the pack and the land they owned. Among her four siblings, three brothers and a sister, she was was the smallest. The runt of the family. Naturally, Sera had to fight for milk which made her emotionally strong. However, her parents resented her size and once they realize she would always be on the small side they started chipping away at her strength by treating her as such. Small and useless. Her parents frowned upon the weak and that was just how they viewed Sera. So instead of treating her with love and pride, they used her as a slave. There was no help from her siblings either for they followed along with the parents.

Initially, her fighting spirit fought back but slowly they tore her down and rebuilt her into the wolf she became. Sera followed orders, submitted constantly and willingly (and fearfully) accepted harsh punishment when mistakes were made. She was never allowed to deny orders and even if the mistake was not her fault, directly, she was still punished for it. Thus why she would always apologize for any wrongdoing despite who was in the wrong.

Throughout her entire childhood, that was her life. On the day of her first birthday, she managed to successfully sneak away under the cloak of darkness. Sera just could not take that life anymore. She would rather die so if she were to go out, it was best to die trying to break free from her chains. Perhaps a little bit of her fighting spirit survived the cruel upbringing.

After a couple of months of wandering, she finally ended up in Teekon Wilds with the uncertainty of what to do next.
