Marlow has a silver coat with flecks of darker slate grey. The silver fur gradually deepens around his face, making a black mask which covers his eyes and the bridge of his muzzle. He also has black limbs, ears, and a the fur along his back and shoulders and tip of his tail is also darker than the rest of his silver pelt. His eyes are a warm and fiery amber.

The male is on the smaller side, medium in size with a slender build and long slim legs, though his body is nicely toned with lean muscle and large powerful paws. His coat always appears disheveled and windswept, if not damp. The scent of sea salt and driftwood clings to his fur.
