Skull (and his brother Bones) were born into a traditional pack in northern British Columbia. Being one of the more skilled wolves of his father's subordinates, Skull was well praised but never rose to the ranks of leadership nor had any aspirations to. He knew when, where, and how to throw his weight around. But when Siku came along and managed to utterly destroy him in a fair fight, Skull felt he was no longer suited to serve beneath his father and set out with his brother to find the dark woman who bested him. <BR><BR>

The brothers wandered the wilds together with Skull pushing them both to their limits to put distance between themselves and Braggart's Crossing. Their departure had angered their father and disappointed many of the pack members and, though Skull had no delusions that he would be hunted down and murdered for his desertion, he still did not feel wholly comfortable with leaving his former loyalties behind.<BR><BR>

But a few weeks later they entered the Seahawk Valley and, as fate would have it, Skull ran into Siku early that morning and together they killed an old cougar who'd stolen their kill. After returning to rouse his brother, the two went and joined Tartok under the leadership of Siku. His brother later vanished, and Skull never heard from him again. In his absence, he threw himself into Tartok and began to adopt many of the pack's creeds. He continued to be unwavering loyal to Siku, and even protected the pack in her stead for a brief time while she was visiting their newest branch in Seahawk.<br><BR>

But when she chose Aves instead of him to replace Kilgharrah at her side, his instincts and emotions began to get the better of him. When he heard that Aguta had joined with Tonravik, he expressed his desire to join the two younger females and her yearling son, Tonraq, to continue his duty as a mentor to the family. He stayed with them for many months, only to return to Siku when he felt the brood was old enough to thrive.<BR><BR>

The flame he carried for her never died, and still exists to this day, but he places his duty to her and the wolves of Tartok far above his desires. By her command he travels out once more in search of the familiar faces scattered to the four winds.
