A stray child found roaming the outskirts of Lamos, who was taken in by the warriors of the stratónes and trained, like many other boys lacking familial ties. When he wasn't training with his brothers he was doing odd jobs: culling beasts, scouting territories, running along the frontline of battlefields as an expendable árchon until he'd earned enough respect to advance.
Eventually those boys serving Lamos became a unit unto themselves. They were each granted an assignment: a region to scout, a specific person to protect, a family who they would devote their life to. Orthaon dedicated himself to the service of others and did well for himself, though he does not like to speak of his exploits.
